The Saturday Market Opens June 19th – Vendors Wanted!

The Arco Saturday Market opens June 19th, rain or shine and continues each Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. until August 28th at the corner of Grand Avenue and Front Street. The Market may continue into September if there is adequate participation.

Organizers want to:
• Provide a visually appealing taste of local culture that encourages tourists to leave their vehicles and experience our community.
• Provide an opportunity for local growers, producers, artisans and crafters to showcase and sell their goods.
• Provide an opportunity for store front businesses to promote their businesses through coupons & specials that will be handed out to visitors at the market.

Butte County Chamber of Commerce & the Butte Communities Horizons Program sponsor the Saturday Market. Butte County, City of Arco, Lost River Economic Development, and the University of Idaho Extension support the program with in-kind contributions and expertise.

The Market seeks sellers of fresh fruits, vegetables, or produce other farm products. Creators of prepared food items, artisans and crafters with unique locally made products, as well as concession should all take the opportunity to sell their creations. Community organizations wishing to fundraise are also welcome.

Vendors participate in the Saturday Market in one of three ways:
• Seasonal Vendors pre-pay for either a 10x10 ($75) or 10x20 ($100) space and participate every Saturday of the Market. Seasonal Vendors save $35!
• Daily Vendors specify in advance specific Saturday’s they wish to participate in the Market and pre-pay for either a 10x10 ($10 per day) or 10x20 ($15 per day) space.
• On-Call Daily Vendors are unable to commit to specific Saturday’s in advance but would like to either be called if single Saturday’s are available or call 48 hours in advance of the Market to see if space is available for following Saturday. The daily rate of $10 for 10x10 or $15 for 10x20 spaces still apply and must be paid prior to setting up at the Market.

Butte County Chamber of Commerce Members receive a 20% discount on their Vendor Fee! Capitalize on this great opportunity by becoming a Chamber member for just $50 per year. Priority in scheduling and space assignment will be given first to Seasonal Vendors, then Daily Vendors, then On-Call Daily Vendors. Space limited and application to participate in the Market is required.
