Butte County Chamber Holds Academic Recognition Luncheon

By Chad Cheyney, Butte County Chamber of Commerce

The Butte County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Academic Recognition Luncheon on Tuesday May 10th and Noon time. The luncheon is planned to be held in the large room of the Business Incubation Center, pending removal of the magistrate court to its new home in the remodeled Memorial Building. If this does not happen, the luncheon will be held on the High School Campus.

The Chamber will be honoring the 5 graduating seniors with the highest academic standing, as determined by their grades. In addition, the High School teachers were asked to select a senior(s) who has made the most academic improvement, and two tied.
