Mount Borah Ranch Historic Ranch Tour

Life-long Custer County rancher, Wiley Smith will lead a walking tour of his family’s historic Mt. Borah Ranch on Saturday May 12.  Spend a fun and fascinating day learning about the ranch’s history, the history of ranching in the beautiful upper Big Lost River Valley, and view the wide variety of historic equipment that has been used at the ranch over the past century.   

The tour starts at 11 AM, Saturday May 12.  Meet at the ranch entrance next to the Smith’s yellow brick house on east side of Highway 93 near Mile Marker 130, about twenty one miles north of Mackay, ID. 

Bring a lunch and water. 

After the tour, the South Custer Historical Society Museum in Mackay will be open to visitors.
