Skateboarding Through Arco...A Push to Remember - Skateboarding Across America to End Alzheimer's

I would like to introduce you to “A Push to Remember – Skateboarding Across America to End Alzheimer’s”.  On July 4th, 2013, our five person team,  ranging in age from 20 to 56 will come together to push our skateboards 3,000 miles from Newport, Oregon to New York City, New York in a little over three weeks.

In October of 2012, my father, and Dylan's grandfather, Jack Smith, passed away due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease. We are making this push in his honor and to raise awareness and $100,000 to help fund care, support, and research in the fight against Alzheimer's.

I invite you to take a look at our “A Push to Remember – Skateboarding Across America to End Alzheimer’s” website.

So why am I contacting you?  We will be finishing our fifth day of skateboarding on July 11th in Arco. This will be the third time that I have skateboarded through Arco during a skateboard cross country push (1984, 2003). We are hoping you might be able to help us find free or reduced rate lodging. We would need two rooms/two beds.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me at any time should you have any questions.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.

All the best,
Jack Smith
