Hand Me Downs Becoming a Mercantile AND Thrift Store

Hand Me Downs, on West Grand Avenue, run by Zebby Davidson will be converting to a mercantile and thrift store with a grand opening on March 2nd.  Hand Me Downs will begin discount food.  Any extra food will be donated to the Emergency Food Band.  Zebby said that there motto will be,  "Friend folks with and old fashion price.

Zebby invites everyone to their grand opening on March 2nd, and encourages everyone to drop in and check out the store.

One Month Left to Apply for SBA Disaster Loans
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U. S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Disaster Field Operations Center - West, today reminded small, nonfarm businesses in 22 Idaho counties and neighboring Montana, Oregon and Wyoming counties of the March 2, 2015, deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for economic injury.  These low-interest loans are to offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by the drought in the following primary counties that began May 1, 2014.

Primary Idaho counties:  Blaine, Camas, Canyon, Fremont and Minidoka;
Neighboring Idaho counties:  Ada, Bingham, Butte, Cassia, Clark, Custer, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jefferson, Jerome, Lincoln, Madison, Owyhee, Payette, Power and Teton;

Presentation: Craters of the Moon Status, Dan Buckley
Chad introduced Dan Buckley. Dan reviewed his career, and why he is the park superintendent. Has been here 3 years.  Dan spends his after-hours in the park hiking, biking, running and exploring.
He believes Craters is worthy of National Park status and could possibly help promote more tourism to the area.
